Upper Merion, PA

Upper Merion Township’s needs for an asset management solution were typical for a municipality of their size. They wanted centralized management of data across departments, standardization of processes, and a common interface for everyone to work with together.  The King of Prussia Mall presented a unique challenge.  Due to the presence of this large retail space, the Township needed a way to track assets and maintenance at a more granular level than the typical municipality.  TRAISR provides the flexibility needed to track permit activity at the parcel level as well as the individual shop, or suite level which allows tracking of individual businesses as they enter and leave the space, as well as renovations to the space.

The implementation of TRAISR in Upper Merion Township coincided with the beginning of winter.  The TRAISR team worked closely with the Township to prepare their vehicles in time for an early snow event.  They vehicles and tracking system were set up in time for their first snowfall and the Township managed to successfully track the cleanup before they could be formally trained.  Once trained, they added street sweeping and leaf collection as vehicle tracking projects.
