Whitpain Township, PA uses TRAISR to track everyday public works operations. With a desire to reduce the paper trail and improve communication within the department, paper forms were converted into electronic work orders using TRAISR’s Work Centrl module. Combined with web-based GIS, the staff is now able to schedule and track jobs that were once documented using pen and paper.

 

With GIS data readily available, Whitpain Township has implement TRAISR’s document structure to store important files pertaining to each specific asset in which the township manages. Whether it be site plans, easement agreements, or even CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) inspection sheets and videos, township staff have access to files right from TRAISR.

 

The Engineering department also saw the need for an upgrade to their MS4 permitting software. They are now using TRAISR to track these permits, using the GIS data to determine which watershed the property falls under.
